The Scape Artist

Founded in 2013, The Scape Artist was created by Paddy Milne, bringing together a team of skilled and qualified professionals to offer bespoke landscape design, landscape construction, and garden maintenance services. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality services to residential clients, with projects spanning multiple states across Australia. From our new office base in Lake Gardens, we continue to develop as leaders in the industry. With a strong focus on integrity, skill, and professionalism, The Scape Artist is committed to bringing our clients' outdoor visions to life through sustainable, thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship.

Leadership and Expertise: Paddy Milne

With nearly two decades of experience in landscape design and horticulture, Paddy Milne leads The Scape Artist team with passion and dedication. His qualifications in both horticulture and landscape construction, combined with his registration as a builder, make him a highly respected leader in the industry. Paddy’s hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that every garden is a reflection of the client’s vision, brought to life with expert craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

From his early studies to working with landscapers both locally and internationally, Paddy has developed a deep understanding of how to create thriving outdoor spaces. He also brings his knowledge to a wider audience, having hosted Foxtel and Binge’s design and renovation show, Selling in the City.

Our team at The Scape Artist is comprised of highly skilled professionals with qualifications in landscape architecture, garden design, horticulture, and landscape construction. Every project we work on is a labour of love, and we pride ourselves on collaborating across disciplines to deliver holistic landscape solutions.

Whether we're creating bespoke garden designs, managing construction, or providing ongoing garden maintenance, our team brings expertise, creativity, and passion to every project. We are dedicated to ensuring that each garden is not only beautiful but also functional and sustainable, meeting the unique needs of our diverse clientele.

“We were proud to again be part of the Garden DesignFest in 2022 after our debut in 2016. Unfortunately 2020 was cancelled due to COVID. We look forward to showing two of our new gardens on the weekend of November 19th and 20th 2022.

In 2024 we look forward to being a part of the Design Fest again, revealing new gardens to the public for a great cause. This is a great initiative by Rotary, which highlights gardens through the eye of the designer.”
